GO JOE!

Just a quick entry to say CONGRATS! to my dear friend, Joe. He recently got engaged! So please keep Joe and his future bride, Jamie in your prayers. - Stacey

Momories & Mulit-tasking

Well life is busy but that's the way I like it... women are good at multi-tasking... well a lot of us are. This past week has had it's perks and it's pits... I've spent most of the week in tears but because I am a woman and I acted without thinking so for the past few days I've been kicking myself over it (a few times litterally but that's beside the point). All is well now... I apologized and God has shown me that it's ok.

Oh I was told at work the other day that guys see me as intimidating and that's why guys don't talk to me like a normal girl. That's was a huge weight off my shoulders cause I always thought it was because i wasn't pretty enough. I talked to my ex, Zach tonight and he said... "you knew what you wanted and did what you had to to get it...i personally liked it". So thank you to Zach :).

I'm curently reading three different books... i know i know... One is "Les Miserables" by: Victor Hugo... my favorite musical so i pick the book up every once in a while to refresh my memory. Another (and most recent) is "Persuasion" by: Jane Austen. I love her as a writer. "Pride & Prejudice" is by far my favorite of her series... I own the movies for "Pride & Prejudice", "Sence & Sensibility" and "Persuasion" and watch them quite often... mom just bought me the books so I've just started them but I'm already on chapter 3. The third is the Bible... I'm only on Exodus but I feel like I'm honestly at one with God when I pick up the bible... unfortunatly it's one of those books I pick up and cant put down though... It would be ok if I never had to work. It's so big. hahaha

speaking of books i pick up and cant put down... y'all should get a copy of "The Complex Infrastructure Known As The Female Mind" by: Relient K... I finished it in 2 days... would have been shorter but I of course had to work. Anyway... It's a good one! But I have to get some sleep some time... so I bid you all good night. - Stacey

I happen to like my shoes!

Not a whole lot has happened. But this is cool enough to make an entry... Last night the station brought the Pillar tour to town... well... I had to watch the table the whole night but that's ok. Anyway... Noah from Pillar came out after the show to sign autographs and because he stood right in front of the table I got to meet him. Well as I was walking back behind the table he asked me where I got my shoes cause he liked them! I was so totally geeked! Hardly anyone likes my shoes! My family calls them my "bowling shoes". So that made me totally happy that someone that famous likes my shoes! - Stacey

I was afraid!

Oh man... tonight one of the best and one of the worst things happened...

I was out in the Garden Center at work and was putting clearance backpacks into shopping carts from a huge yellow bin so I could actually get them through the door and to the back room. Well anyway... as I was reaching in to grab a bunch i noticed there was some sort of like... skin to be blunt. And first thing I thought was SNAKE! And anyone who knows me knows i hate snakes so I ran and of course screamed "THERE'S A SNAKE SKIN IN THERE AND I'M NOT TOUCHING IT!" Not really knowing what it was that I touched. So Tim and some guy from hardware went to check it out... sure enough... snake skin. *shudders* I was freaking out. I'm not kidding I was so scared that I refused to touch the bin of backpacks and I was litterally in tears.

God Bless... Stacey

In The Name Of Love

Well I went to another concert for the on the 10th. This time it was the In The Name Of Love Tour with Todd Agnew, Barlow Girl, Building 429 & Starfield.

We had such a blast hanging out with the bands. Starfield... WAY funny. Barlow Girl... They have the most adorable Neice & Nephew! Building 429 didn't really hang out with us all too much but what they did was cool... one was rubbing the back of my head when I was going to get a picture with them and none of them would say who it was. Sorry It's still something that I wish I knew. Todd Agnew was barefoot... but I guess that's not out of the ordinary.

I met David Nasser first though. He was the guest speaker and man was he funny! He came up to me first and I had no idea who he was and he started to do liners for me. I could hardly contain ourselves. Trust me... if you ever want to see a comedian... Go see him!

I spent the most time with Starfield... Shaun to be exact. Jon & John hung out with me a lot but Shaun at some points actually sought us out when we didn't notice he was there... for instance... I were leaving and in the dark, across the parking lot we heard "BYE!" It was Shaun of course. He's a great guy. John sat down at the table I was sitting at and was like "This pumpkin needs to be drawn on" So he did. Then Jon (on of the guitar players and back up vocalist) was like addicted to the crosants that were there backstage and I think it was Jon that called me Tina Faye. I still have no idea who that is. But they (meaning John, Jon & Shaun) nearly had a heart attack when I said I had no clue who she was.

I must have sounded stupid when they told me she was a girl from SNL. I don't know... I don't watch tv. Then we got into talking about Hockey (HUGE into Hockey) and they're Canadian so that's a good thing to talk about with them I guess. Then Shaun & I were discussing Soccer. Apparently he plays. Soccer's my favorite sport so I got into that conversation. That was about the time Tim (the lead singer) joined in and asked me who may favorite player was (David Beckham) and who he plays for. Hey I was honest. I knew he USED to play for MAN U. but had no idea who he played for now. Now I know... Tim told me. But yeah Shaun & I weren't REALLY going to have it out when he said he was a MAN U fan (I Love Leeds!). But it was fun to act like we were.

anyway.... All in all it was a good night. I had fun. I laughed. I got my head rubbed by myserious Building 429 members. But the fact that I went home with a smile on my face and God in my heart... that's all that matters right?

Until Next Time...- Stacey

Ok y'all should be proud of me! I am! hehehe j.j. Nah But I went running with Anisa today and I'm quite proud.
